Mel Kiper a Matt Ryan Fan

Here are some quotes from Mel Kiper's Q&A this week on espn.com:

David Anderson (Iksan, S. Korea): Can Henne get himself back into the first round? Was he ever in the first round? If he comes back to finish with a big season after the first two games, I'd say that says a lot about his character.

Mel Kiper: Henne was a first round talent. With his arm, he has as good an arm as anyone. He's not 100%. He's playing hurt. He was firing passes all over the place. He was on fire in the second half against Northwestern last week. Henne was the key guy. Mike Hart didn't have a great game. Jake Long was excellent at LT. He eliminates the right DE from the equation. Right now you have four potential first round QBs. Brohm, Woodson and Matt Ryan, who could end up being the No. 1 QB picked in this draft. Then you have Booty with a first round grade right now. He's adjusting to new talent all around him. He doesn't have Jarrett or Smith around him anymore. You have to put Henne right in there.

Drew (Louisville, KY): Who is your top five for the Heisman trophy? Can Andre actually end up in New York for the dinner at least.

Mel Kiper: Well, with Woodson, how does he do in these high profile games? South Carolina, LSU, Florida. Games against Tennessee late in the year. They play a lot of big games. Right now, my guy is Darren McFadden. He keeps on putting up big numbers. Tim Tebow is No. 2. He'll make or break his Heisman hopes against LSU on Saturday night. I would put Woodson No. 3. I put DeSean Jackson at No. 4, but if only he continues what he was doing against Oregon. He has to keep playing great football. I put Jake Long fifth. I think he's having a great year at LT. Another guy that will be in the mix if he keeps winning is Matt Ryan. There are a lot of guys in the mix. Who wins it? If McFadden keeps running wild, it will hard to beat him.

Raymond Mitchell, (Los Angeles, California): Seeing that the chicago bears are going to need a QB for the future. What QB, coming out of college, will be a good fit for them. And which QB's would be a starter coming out of college and which QB's would need a year befor they start?

Mel Kiper: Knowing the Bears and the weather conditions, I think Matt Ryan, he's playing up in Boston College. He has a former NFL assistant as his coach. If you had to hand pick a guy, I would take him.
